Make your work easier – let’s work together!

Working together as a team, we achieve stable and lasting results. Our secret is to address the root causes of problems. In order to ensure that the process of treatment of the temporomandibular joint goes smoothly and to avoid complications, it is necessary to consult a physiotherapist. This includes tests, an assessment of the muscle condition, the correct position of the jaw joint and finally a treatment plan.
We make sure patients are prepared for these dental/orthodontic interventions:
- to raise the bite;
- for dental implants;
- for dentures;
- for tooth extraction;
- for correction of malocclusion;
- orthodontic treatment (braces, dental veneers);
- rehabilitation before and after orthognathic surgery.
How many visits are needed?
The period of treatment of the jaw joint and the preparation of patients for dental/orthodontic procedures is highly individual. During the first consultation, the physiotherapist assesses the patient’s condition and indicates how many treatments will be needed to achieve effective results. The average number of visits for treatment and preparation of the jaw joint is between 6 and 10.
- The patient complains of pain in the jaw, face, head, neck and shoulder girdle.
- The patient has limited movement of the jaw joint (e.g. no more than 4 cm extension).

- The patient has a malposition of the tongue (tongue down at rest).
