During the consultation, the patient’s medical history is reviewed, an examination is carried out (assessing muscle strength/balance, joint condition and function), the patient is introduced to the correct jaw/tongue positions, and the appropriate exercises are individually selected. Further treatment plan is discussed with the physiotherapist. We recommend that you bring your doctors’ notes and test results (e.g. panoramic photos, CT scans, MRIs, etc.) to the consultation. If you have a recommendation from your dentists, bring your own dental cap. If you have been recommended a cap, plate or other dental appliances, you must bring them with you to your first consultation!
